June 2015 Lowband Contest Results

The number of entries recovered to a degree this month, and the extra activity from German stations in their microwave contest gave many entrants some good DX.

This time out the Combe Gibberlets (M0HNA/P) were victors on 1.3GHz, with Mike G8CUL as runner up. These two stations were well ahead of the rest of the entrants, and both worked some excellent DX into Germany.

On 2.3GHz G8CUL retained his crown as winner for the fourth session in a row, with M0HNA/P in runner-up slot. Once again continental DX was much in evidence, with G4LDR making a QSO at 874km with DL0GTH for the best DX of the day.

More activity was apparent on 3.4GHz this time, with M0HNA/P taking the top slot and G4BRK in the runner up position.

The overall winner was M0HNA/P with leading positions on 1.3 and 3.4GHz, and the runner up slot on 2.3GHz. Overall runner up was G8CUL, who won 2.3GHz and was runner up on 1.3GHz.
