| S1 | 1. The UKuG 2026 General Rules apply to this contest series. 2. This contest will take place on four bands: 1.3GHz, 2.30GHz, 2.32GHz and 3.4GHz. 3. There are 5 events 10:00 to 15:00 UTC on a Sunday in March, November and 09:00 to 14:00 UTC on a Sunday in April, May, June. The May event overlaps with the RSGB May UHF contest. Entrants in the May Low Bands event need not start serial numbers from 001 if they are also participating in the RSGB May UHF Contest. 4. Entrants can choose to operate for the whole 5 hours of the contest, or a partial period of their choice. 5. All modes are permitted. 6. Per event, entrants can only submit 1 log per band. Logs for all events entered must be submitted in the week after each session. 7. All events require the use of 6-digit locators. 8. There is a single Open section which has no power or antenna restrictions. 9. Moving location during the contest (Roving) is NOT allowed. 10. Each event will be scored and tabulated separately. There will be an overall championship determined by taking the best 3 normalised scores from each entrant across the 5 events for each band. An overall champion will also be declared based on the normalised championship scores from each band. 11. The G4EAT Trophy will be awarded to the leading entry on 1.3GHz. 12. PDF Certificates for all final positions will be available for download from the UkuG contest website. 13. The normalised scores from all bands will be used to create a Low Band Championship table. 14. Stations wishing to take part on 2.30GHz are reminded that they must be in possession of the relevant Notice of Variation (NOV). Prior to operation commencing, stations should register their station with Ofcom by emailing pssramateurs@ofcom.org.uk to provide the following information: Name, Address, Call sign, Location of use, Frequency range used, Type of use, Regularity of use (e.g. evenings and weekends; 24/7; occasional) and Transmit power (i.e. EIRP). |
